Account & Profile
Manage your display name, username, avatar, and active sessions.
Your profile settings control how you appear to other Omnilib users and how you manage your active sessions across devices.
Accessing profile settings
Open Settings (Cmd+, on macOS, Ctrl+, on Windows) and select the Account tab, or navigate to your profile by clicking your avatar in the toolbar.
Display name
Your display name appears in the toolbar, in community posts you publish, and in collaboration presence indicators. Update it at any time — changes take effect immediately across all active sessions.
Username
Your username appears in your profile URL (omnilib.ai/u/username) and in @mentions. You can change your username, but changes are subject to a rate limit to prevent abuse. Omnilib shows how many changes you have remaining in the current period.
Usernames must be unique. If the one you want is taken, Omnilib suggests alternatives.
Your email address is used for sign-in, invitation notifications, and billing. It is not shown publicly. To change your email, verify the new address before the change takes effect.
Avatar
Choose from 20 preset avatars or upload a custom image.
To select a preset:
- Click your current avatar in profile settings.
- Browse the preset grid and click one to apply it.
To upload a custom image:
- Click Upload image.
- Select a PNG, JPG, or WebP file.
- Crop and position as needed.
- Click Save.
Custom images are resized automatically for display in various sizes across the interface.
Sign out
Click Sign out at the bottom of the Account settings page to end your current session. You will be redirected to the sign-in page.
Session management
View all devices and browsers where your account is currently signed in under Settings > Sessions (web app). Each entry shows the device type, browser, approximate location, and the time of last activity.
To revoke a session, click Revoke next to it. That device is signed out immediately. Use this to remove access from a device you no longer use or do not recognize.
Web only. Session management is available in the web app at
web.omnilib.ai.
